Dayton Day Program Celebrates Election Day

Enhanced Living residents and members of the Dayton Day Program learned about choice this week. The activity coincided with the 2016 presidential election. The Day Program staff wanted residents and members to learn about how elections are a chance for individual voices to be heard. Elections teach skills like communication and decision making.

Graceworks Enhanced Living runs day programs in Dayton and Cincinnati.

The members at the Dayton Day Program participated in a couple different mock election activities that expressed their choice. They voted on their favorite choice of ice cream flavors and then on Election Day, they too cast their vote for the presidency. The election allowed members to share in the excitement on election day.
